Each year, financial institutions, such as Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited, are audited to comply with Australian financial reporting and regulatory requirements. Ernst & Young (EY) are the external auditors of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited and its controlled entities (the Group). An annual external audit is a statutory requirement of all listed organisations. As part of this process, EY select a sample of customers and look to confirm the account balances directly with the selected customers.
