Bendigo Bank reigns supreme for home loan satisfaction

Bendigo Bank home loan customers are the most satisfied in Australia, according to the findings of a new survey released yesterday that polled more than 30,000 customers from the ten biggest banks.

The satisfaction of Bendigo Bank customers with their home loans was measured as a market leading 87.7% over the six months to March 2024, according to Roy Morgan, maintaining its significant gap over the average of the major banks.

Chief Customer Officer for Consumer Banking at Bendigo Bank, Richard Fennell, said he was honoured but not surprised by the result given the Bank’s approach to banking.

“At Bendigo Bank, we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our customers,” Mr Fennell said.

“We work hard to deliver great outcomes for each and every customer and have reached out to as many of our home loan customers as possible over the last two years to make sure their loans were suitable for their circumstances.

“As the colder months approach, we’re encouraging every Australian to take a fresh look at their home loan needs with a Bendigo Bank Home Loan Health Check.

In addition to having Australia’s most satisfied home loan customers, Bendigo Bank is also Australia’s most trusted bank, and is consistently voted one of the top 20 most trusted brands nationwide.

24-year-old Airline Cabin Manager, Patrick Pretlove, who purchased his first home in Geelong is one of these satisfied customers, thanking Bendigo Bank for the support he received when embarking on one of the biggest financial decisions he will ever make.

“Bendigo Bank were extremely supportive when I was going through my application process,” Mr Pretlove said.

“A special thanks has to go out to Meri Dimovska who was super responsive to the hundreds of questions I had and provided me with regular updates as my application progressed, which certainly put me at ease.
