The academic dreams of 99 students became a reality in 2015, thanks to one of Australia’s largest scholarship programs.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Scholarship for rural and regional students

Thirty scholarships were awarded under the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank 2015 Scholarship for rural and regional students.

The fifteen students to receive new scholarships to support their first year of tertiary study are:

  • Jacinta Lock of Malanda QLD is studying Engineering at James Cook University
  • Emily Pryor of Lammermoor QLD is studying Medicine/Surgery at Monash University
  • Charlotte Wright of Cairns QLD is studying Engineering at University Of Queensland
  • Mai Yamanaka of Twin Waters QLD is studying Medical Science at Griffith University
  • Khalia Guidera of Elliston SA is studying Arts at University of Adelaide
  • Musthafa Sher of New Town TAS is studying Medicine at Griffith University

Six students received Rural Bank 2015 Scholarships to support their first year of tertiary study.
